The post season is the most important time in the HGL season as teams and players skills should be fine tuned providing our fans high quality gridiron entertainment.
In the Hawaii Gridiron League all teams will participate in post season play and have a chance to win it all and represent the Hawaii Conference in the World Gridiron Association Championships. The HGL will consist of East and West Divisions.
At the conclusion of Round #1 the highest seeded team remaining will square off against the lowest seeded losing team in exhibition play with the exception of #1 playing #6 again. In this case the #1 seed would play another team selected by the league in exhibition play. Win or lose they advance to the Championship Round. The two remaining winning teams will play for the right to play the highest seed in the Championship. All other teams will continue to play for 3rd place trophy.
Its for all the marbles as the final two teams standing do battle for the Hawaii Gridiron Championship and the right to hoist the trophy and be crowned the kings of the Hawaii Conference in the World Gridiron Association. HGL Championship will be preluded by a 3rd Place and 5th Place Concellation Games.
