Kailua Storm’s Kama Bailey scored the first touchdown of the HGL 2014 Season as they go on to defeat the Waikiki Stingrays 14-7 yesterday at University of Hawaii’s TC Ching Field. Bailey’s agility and speed was the key to the Storm’s win but the Stingrays didn’t make it easy as their never die attitude had them in position to tie thing sup as they gained possession of the ball deep in Storm territory late in the 4th quarter. A stingy Storm defense kicked in and held on to a week #1 victory for Coach and team owner Tony Godinet. Willie Folks scored on a deep pass play as he got behind the Storm defense proving once again he can make it happen in one play. The Storm go home with the W but the Stingrays go home with realizing they are a much better team this season.
