Participants can expect to go through various forms of testing as well as position specific skills designed to show us what type of skills you got. Representatives from each team will be onsite looking for players to fill the few available pots on their 2014 rosters. Check in begins at 11:00pm followed by staff introductions at 12:00pm. Please arrive early to warm up properly and ask any questions you may have. Any additional questions email our headquarters at email@example.com. See You There!
The Wahine Koa impressively defeated the Bombshells 26-0 to repeat and claim the HWGL 2013 Fall Championship. Wahine Koa defense led the way with 5 interceptions 3 by their defensive captain and defending HWGL Defensive Player of the Year Christie Ayers including the game clincher 1 handed snag to end the game and any chance for the bombshells to get on the scoreboard. Head Coach August Young went on on a limb before the season begin saying his ladies would repeat. Well the ladies had their coaches back week after week by going undefeated and once again proving they are #1. Congratulations to Wahine Koa their coaches and fans for once again you are the Champions! We’d also like to send a big Mahalo out to all the teams that participated this season and look forward to having you all back for our Winter season that will kickoff in January.

In preparation it’s that time of year where we search the islands for the players who have the skills, heart, determination and real love for the game to carry out the mission and dreams of the HGL. In 2014 the HGL presents event greater opportunities for local players to not only be football stars locally but can also lead to them playing the game professionally internationally.

All these players were paid and treated like pros by the AFL-China Team and are well on their way to being selected to play in the AFL-China Professional League due to kickoff in late 2014.
